Q: I wrote you an e-mail, but I didn't receive a response.
A:
We respond to each e-mail we receive. Some factors including spam filters may block our or your e-mail. Try changing the settings on your spam filters then e-mail us again. If you still do not receive a response from us please contact us by another method.
Q: Can I buy merchandise from your website?
A:
Many of the lines we carry do not wish for their merchandise to be sold online. This is to insure you receive the individual attention you need to insure you choose the fit and gown that is right for you. You can however add a style to your TFP wishlist and submit it to us. From there we will contact you to complete your order. The TFP wishlist also allows for secure online credit card submittal to aid
in a speedy order process.
Q: When should I start shopping for my dress?
A:
For seasonal styles such as prom and Mardi Gras the best selection is available starting late December. Some manufacturers sell out of top styles as early as the end of January. At that time, many manufacturers are reassessing their inventory and orders and can not get more of the top styles before March or even late April. Also, since we do register your purchase, you may not be able to purchase the gown you want because it is already in our computerized dress registry system for your event. Long story short: January and February shopping is best for prom and Mardi Gras.
Q: Do I need an appointment?
A: No, we do not require appointments. To beat the crowds and long lines during February-April, try to come Monday through Friday before 4 PM.
Q: Do you have a dress registry?
A: Yes we do. Your gown is registered in our computerized registry system and unlike other registry services we will not sell your gown in any color. So remember the more
of your group that shops at The Formal Place the more unlikely you’ll see the same gown in any color. To help your event’s registry The Formal Place offers private parties.
